I believe that God has given all people specific gifts and talents that are to be used to show the world how good He is. This is basically where the idea for Wheelhouse began. In all things that I do, I want there to be purpose. At Wheelhouse, I believe the purpose is to serve people by getting to know them and making them look and feel great! The ideas go together beautifully! It is our mission to develop relationships with our guests so that we can better serve them with hair that fits who they are or who they want to be! It has always been very important to me to make this connection so that I can help deliver the best results possible.
Along with this, it is also important to infuse art and creativity into the process. At Wheelhouse we are also committed to education, fashion, and the art of hairdressing. I love that you can be at the most beautiful beach you can imagine in less than five hours, but you can also head north, and in just a few hours see amazing mountains and greenery.

I love a hamburger on my back porch, grilled by my husband. But as far as restaurants go, I really like Ollie Irene. The Knife Party is a sporadic supper club that you learn about via email after you sign up on their website. That’s also a top pick.

I live right by an awesome nature preserve called Moss Rock. It has beautiful trails and streams. I think it’s pretty fantastic. I would take someone there for sure.
