TELL US A LITTLE BIT ABOUT YOU.
I’m a blogger, travel writer, and brand consultant living in Nashville. I travel quite a bit for work, which I love, but I’m just as happy being home in Tennessee. When I’m home, I like to hike with my beagle and frequent all the great coffee shops we have in town. But when I travel, I try to step out of my normal routine and try things I usually wouldn’t do.

WHAT MADE YOU DECIDE TO START BLOGGING?
I’ve always wanted to blog, but it took me a long time to figure out what I wanted to blog about. So, I suppose in some ways I’ve been planning this blog since high school. I launched the blog after graduating from design school—it seemed like the perfect time. I learned so much about my style within those four years that it helped me figure out which direction to take things.

HOW WOULD YOU DESCRIBE YOUR BLOG AND WHAT DO YOU HOPE TO SHARE WITH YOUR FOLLOWERS?
I’d describe it as a travel and fashion blog, but I really blog about anything that I like! I share travel advice, outfit ideas, really anything that could inspire someone who shares a similar style.

HOW HAS LIVING IN NASHVILLE SHAPED THE PERSON THAT YOU ARE TODAY?
I don’t think I’d be blogging full-time if it wasn’t for my time in Nashville. This town is full of so much talent, which pushes you to work hard and live up to the standard. Plus, the style here is so inspiring. People dress really well in Nashville. My wardrobe changed drastically after moving here.

HOW WOULD YOU DESCRIBE YOUR PERSONAL STYLE?
I think I dress pretty casually—lots of denim, lots of leather. Basically, I’m drawn to things that I could wear 1,000 times over and never be sick of. I’ve always seemed to stay away from color, I feel more comfortable in neutrals. Lately, I’ve been looking to French icons like Jane Birkin or Françoise Hardy for fashion inspiration. I don’t think they’ve ever looked bad, so I think it’s safe to have them as muses.

WHAT ARE YOUR TOP FAVORITE BEAUTY PRODUCTS?
I could go on about this forever. I’m a sucker for products. For hair, I love Bumble & Bumble’s Pret-A-Powder and Oribe’s Dry Texturizing Spray. Both are great for making your hair look thicker and a bit tousled. For skincare, I’ve been drawn to Fresh’s Seaberry Moisturizing Face Oil. I get really dry skin in the winter so I need some pretty intense moisture, and this stuff works wonders. Lastly, for makeup I love Chanel’s Vitalumiere Foundation, Fresh’s Sugar Lip Treatment in Rose, and Dior’s Blackout Mascara.

WHAT’S YOUR FAVORITE RESTAURANT IN NASHVILLE?
I can’t get enough of Epice, which is this incredible Lebanese restaurant in the 12th South neighborhood. It also doesn’t hurt that it’s walking distance from my apartment! If you go, be sure to order the hummus to start and their sea bass for your main course. It’s so good I can’t seem to ever order anything else.

WHAT ELSE WOULD YOU LIKE OUR READERS TO KNOW ABOUT YOU?
I’ve recently started writing articles for Condé Nast Traveler magazine, which is kind of a lifelong dream come true! I’ve been sharing some travel tips along with my favorite places in Nashville which you can check out over at cntraveler.com.
