Fall is officially HERE (!!!), which means all the corduroy mini skirts and oversized sweaters that have been hiding away in our closets for the past few months finally get to make their long-awaited appearance. But of course, even though our closets are filled with Fall wardrobe staples that we love to reach for year after year, we can't help but indulge in a few new pieces to keep our closet current! After all, there are more bold trends than ever to play around with this Fall, and we can't wait to share some of our absolute favorites with you.
This Fall, get ready for the reemergence of old favorites like the oversized sweater and jeans combo, only updated this time to reflect current trends. The new oversized sweater is the bold-colored striped sweater, and likewise, your favorite Fall jeans have taken a turn for the vintage with a high waisted straight leg fit. If you're awaiting actual Fall weather (read: below 85 degrees) to no avail, don't sweat it. Literally. Crop tops and trendy skirts of all kinds are in—and here to stay.
When weather doesn't yet lend itself to layering on jackets and coats, level up your outfit with a few well-placed accessories like croc bags, thick chain necklaces, textured belts and a few fun hair accessories (we're all about the barrette right now!), or play around with bold textures and prints like metallic and animal print.
