I like to keep my beauty routine as simple as possible when traveling. I mostly stick to using organic products, but every now and then I’ll throw a chemical or two in the mix! NYR Organics has been a life saver for my skin. I’ve been using their Rejuvenating Frankincense range of products for some time now, and they have been amazing—not to mention they just came out with travel sizes! There are a lot of days where I won’t really do my hair when I’m traveling—I just let it air dry and wave on it’s own. These products are essential when letting my air dry! While my hair is still damp, I use either the John Masters Organic Sea Salt Spray or the Everyday Coconut Sea Salt Spray. When my hair is almost dry, I’ll use a small amount of this L’Oréal men’s product. It helps tame any frizz while also adding volume. And my final product is the Oribe Dry Texturizing Spray which I use on my roots to lift!

My Rebecca Minkoff backpack is everything right now. I tend to get tension headaches on long travel/work days from carrying large shoulder bags, so I invested in this backpack. It has been a life saver!

Since I usually travel to LA solo and the airport/plane time can be up to 8 hours, I am always prepared with good reading material and my iPad to watch movies or TV shows I’ve downloaded!

Sneakers are a must when I travel to LA because I spend half of my days trucking it through airports and the other half of the day working. There is SO much walking being done on these trips, so I rely on my converse to prevent my back and feet from hurting! Whether it’s New York or LA, I never leave home without my Brightly Twisted blanket that I bought a couple years ago! I FREEZE on planes, so this blanket is a necessity!

I use NYR Organics for my skin care—the BEST! It has done wonders for my skin! And they conveniently make my skin care in travel sizes which is perfect for as much traveling as I do.

Day 1 travel/work outfit: Chaser teeJ Brand cut-offs, and leopard Converse!

I always try to travel with outfits that don’t wrinkle like crazy! This Sundry slub spandex black dress is not only the most comfortable dress ever, but so great to travel with! Dress available at Soca Birmingham.

I went to dinner with my friend James at Bar AMÁ. He always takes me to the latest greatest restaurants! It was AMAZING! Unreal Mexican food, delicious cocktails, and great vibes!

I got “The Nacho” to drink (tequila blanco, chile-lime shrub, Campari, citrus, and honey). Spicy and sweet….delish!

One of my favorite things about hotels is room service coffee! I woke up early to read and drink way too much coffee.

Crepes Express was right by my hotel and a DELISH little place to grab a quick breakfast and iced latte before heading to the airport!

My Hartmann suitcase is the perfect travel bag….small enough not have to check it but big enough to fit everything I need!

My favorite drink right now is the Iced Green Tea from Starbucks. It’s important that you like at least one thing from Starbucks since it’s in every airport! And thanks to Christine from The C Word for this book recommendation!
